Brayden was less than enthused when he was invited to his friend's princess themed birthday party. She informed him they were all going to be dressed up in their princess costumes, he could be a prince or a knight, and there would be dancing and lots of other "girly" activities. I really had to talk him into this one, but he's been friends with Bella, the little girl, since he was practially born and he decided he didn't want to make her sad by not going. However, I couldn't get him to dress up at all. He wanted nothing to do with that part of it. Oh well, he had a good time and one day he'll look back at these pictures and see what a stud he was.

What can $120 buy?
At Old Navy $120 can buy A LOT during their big CLEARANCE sale. We scored big time!!! I had to go back at least 3 or 4 times because they kept putting more and more stuff out.
For Brayden:
1. 4 pairs of pants
2. 6 shirts
3. 2 sweatshirts
4. 1 fleece jacket
5. 1 sporty outfit (under armour type)
For Andrew:
1. 4 pairs of jeans
2. 1 pair of cords
3. 3 shirts
4. 2 pairs of pj's (not shown)
5. 1 pair of shoes
The average price I think I paid for everything was about $3.00-you can't beat that.
Anyway, I think I'm pretty much done winter shopping for next year!![]()

Finally...Our Arizona Trip!
Okay, so I know this is a little late considering we got back from Arizona 2 weeks ago, but I guess better late than never. So we went to Arizona to spend some time with my family. My dad is still out there and I've got an Aunt and Uncle and a couple of cousins who live there. The thing is MY cousins are more like Brayden and Andrew's cousins since they are closer in age.
So anyway the kids had a really GREAT time playing TOGETHER...
(If you can call THIS playing together. I guess kids don't play the same way they used to.)
We saw some GREAT sites...
We went to Westgate, which is where the Fiesta Bowl and Super Bowl are to be played, we ate at Margaritaville, watched a fountain show, and did some window shopping.
One day we went to the Arizona Science Center where they had the Titanic exhibit and also a lot of fun activities for the kids to do.
The kids had a blast trying out all the different exhibits!!!
There's also a place in Phoenix called Organ Stop Pizza, which is basically a pizza joint in an Organ. They have a guy that plays the Organ and takes requests while you eat. The kids thought it was pretty cool.
The rest of the trip was spent just hanging with family, playing games, going to movies and hanging by the pool. It was a nice little getaway. The only thing we missed was daddy (he couldn't take the time off of work).

***Warning! This is not for the weak in stomach.***
Today I was kind of in a hurry to get ready, so I put Andrew in the bath and decided to quickly hop in the shower myself. It was only going to be a fast 2 minute shower and then I would be out to supervise and make sure he didn't drown or anything terrible like that. Well, of course the second my feet touched the shower floor I hear "MMOOOOOMMMM", I just ignored it because he's always yelling at me and continued on. Two minutes later I was finished with my shower and I turned off the water. I heard nothing (never a good sign)...So, I knocked on the wall (our bathrooms share a wall)...He answered back with another "MMMOOOOMMMM", but this time followed with a "poooopieees". My stomach dropped.
Now flashback to Brayden at age 2. Brayden was taking a bath while I was putting on make-up and my friends little girl, that I was watching at the time, was also in the bathroom with us. Well to try to make a long story short Brayden pooped in the tub. He freaked out, and had no idea what was going on. So, I frantically go to get something to try and fish his poo out of the tub, but apparently was not quick enough for him... he grabs his poo and chucks it out of the tub, mind you while completely freaking out, and the poo goes flying across the room and lands smack dab in the middle of the poor little girls chest. So then she starts freaking out because now she has someone else's poo on her shirt.
Now back to today...So, crossing my fingers and saying a prayer, I throw my towel around me and head for his bathroom just hoping he doesn't really mean what I think he's trying to tell me. As I approach the bathroom I see a trail of about 5 little brown balls leading the way to the tub (he had used his sweet little hands to chuck them out of the tub...NASTY!!!). Uh oh! As I look in the tub I see that those aren't the only little treasures he has left for me, there's MORE! So I decide the easiest way to do this is to take all the toys out of the tub and throw them in the sink to be sanitized, drain the water from the tub, clean out the remaining treasures and put in fresh water. So I proceed. I get the toys out, the tub cleaned, fresh water in, pick up the brown balls off the floor and start sanitizing the toys in the sink, and you'll never guess what!?!?!?! Yup! MORE treasures! He had taken MORE of his poo and stuffed it into an empty bottle that he likes to play with in the tub. So, now I've had poop on the floor, poop in the tub, and NOW poop in the sink! Now, I had done pretty okay up until this point, but when I had to clean the poop out of the sink I thought I was going to lose it and I don't mean my mind. I was gagging all over the place. Anyway, a bottle of bleach and a half an hour later I finally had a clean bathroom and a clean boy!
I hope we didn't make anyone sick, but remember I warned you!

Now...what we've all been waiting for...can I have a drum roll please...
As you can see from these videos that grandpa clearly makes it a little further down the hill and Matt...aahh Matt...let's all just take a moment to wipe the tears from our eyes after laughing so hard. Now you can see why he didn't want this video getting out. It would tarnish his "I am invincible" reputation he works so hard to achieve. Now you all have the real story and I will rest better at night knowing that this Kelly family has not decieved you.
P.S. Matt you underestimated my mad computer skills. You thought you could hide this video from me, but as you can see it didn't work. Better luck next time.;)
Oopsy whaty?

Tag...you're it!
1. If I could do college all over again, I would probably get my degree in either Interior Design or photography. I love to play "decorator" with my own house, as well as friends houses and any one else who will let me. I also love photography and get so excited when I take a good picture of my kids or of anything for that matter. If nothing else, at some point, I plan on taking some classes at the Rec Center or a community college just to learn more about these things.
2. I would secretly love to be on a reality TV show. I'm a reality show junkie and just think it would be such blast to be on one. There are a few obvious ones that would be out of the question for me like; American Idol (can't sing, unless I wanted to be one of those people we all make fun of), So You Think You Can Dance (not that talented), The Bachelor (married), and Survivor (if you know me at all you know why this wouldn't work). But the ones that I think would be fun are The Amazing Race, Big Brother or any home decorating show on HGTV. I could NOT do The Amazing Race with my husband (so I'm looking for another partner), because by the end I WOULD probably be eligible for The Bachelor, but I think it would be so much fun to be in a race around the world and all the amazing things you would see. Big Brother just looks like fun and the home decorating shows would probably teach me some stuff as well as having a kick butt room at the end.
3. I'm a recovering insomniac. Well sort of recovering. I have problems falling asleep and staying asleep at night. So sleep is something VERY important to me. I went through a stint for about 8 years where it was REALLY bad. I would go for nights at a time with little to no sleep at all. I was on sleep medications that would work only some of the time, and ever since then, the fear of going back to being a raging insomniac ironically keeps me awake some nights.
4. I love to dance. I did gymnastics and stuff when I was younger but I would say my passion for dancing didn't start until college. We would always go country dancing(don't forget I went to college at the University of Wyoming) and I loved it. I've taken a few classes since then like hip hop and tap and I've learned a little ballroom here and there, but I dance all the time around my house. I just wish I had more opportunities to dance and learn.
5. I love to shop and I love to find good bargains. I would shop ALL DAY everyday if I had the money to support my habit. I love to shop for anything from clothes to home decor. The only shopping I hate is grocery shopping and then any shopping where I have to take my children.
6. I am a NEAT FREAK!!! I hate messes and clutter, at least in my own house (Matt...my car doesn't count). I am constantly cleaning and cannot go to bed with a messy house. I think I get this trait/curse from my mother. I grew up in a spotless house, I hope I'm not ruining my children. But, heck who wouldn't want a clean husband?
